8:30-17:00 (Tuesday - Friday) excluding lunch time, holidays and following period.
New year hoidays (about from 24-Dec. to 9-Jan.)
Shut down period for self-imposed test (from 20-Mar. to 4-Apr.)
Shut down period for annual maintenance (from 1-Aug. to 15-Sep.)
2. Application
Please apply to the Center with a completed application form from the Cryogenic Science Center, or
on-line application by 17:00 on Friday excluding holidays in the previous week before being supplied.
Apply on the phone is not available in order to avoid troubles.
Please apply before 2 weeks in the case of more than 2000L.
3. LHe dewar
The experiment group needs to prepare a liquid helium dewar and bring it to the Cryogenic Center(Bldg. No.2) one day before being supplied.
If the container has been left at normal temperature, please pre-cool it down with liquid nitrogen beforehand.
An electric car is available to transport the dewar. Please utilize the car after applying to Messrs. Sugawara or Tanaka each of whom can be reached on 029-864-5463.
4. Recovery of helium gas
Please try not to leak the gas because liquid helium is very important resource.
